Basswood is good wood. A very misunderstood wood. But make no mistake… it is a TONE wood. We love its open, clear character. Very dynamic, with a round, focused low end. Perfect for allowing your head, hands and heart to speak through the guitar. A bit of a chameleon if you like… this one will do many different things, if you ask nicely. We paired the basswood body with a maple neck and ebony fingerboard for even more clarity and dynamics, and our super versatile “virtuoso” humbuckers will respond to all requests. If you are a player that travels many different tonal roads, this is your new best friend. The Elements of Tone. Available in Dark Metallic Blue, Metallic Red, and Metallic Grey.

Basswood, maple, and ebony all combined to create a clear, warm “acoustic-type” tone, with all the punch and definition you will ever need. Smooth lines and infinite possibilities, the SCW22 takes “The Elements of Tone” to a whole new level.

Our custom designed “flower wheel” bridge is packed with many unique features, all engineered to bring the sound of your head, heart, and hands to life.

Deluxe locking tuners, bone nuts, and ebony fingerboards… from top to bottom, we have considered every aspect of a Zemaitis guitar. Our goal is to allow players the freedom to create, and to inspire you to find your own unique voice.
